My camera and Leadville 100

After working an internship this summer, I decided it as time to upgrade to a bigger, better camera. I got a JVC HD7, a full hd camcorder with manual controls. This thing rocks.

It's first test was the leadville Trail 100, last week. I was lucky enough to get a press pass (Doing video for singletrack.com) and got face to face with Lance Armstrong. The video came out great , and overall, I'm impressed with this camera.

Leadville is always fun, and I picked up Lances feed bag, as well as Tinker Juarez. Tinker broke his seat clamp at about mile 25, and we were driving right behind him when it happend. We drove him back to the pits, where he had people. It's pretty cool driving behind guys like Lance, Dave and Tinker. You learn alot about tactics and politics in a large group. I though Dave Weins was great, not only to come in second, but to take it so well after dominating for the last 6 years. He truly is a winner.

Only a few weeks away from 'Cross. Maybe I'll edit together some video. Question for you guys: When do you start your training for Cyclocross?
